The new route has seen high demand, with 92% occupancy on the inaugural flight, which departed from Campinas to Madrid on Monday at 20:30 p.m. The operation will be carried out on Airbus A330 Neo aircraft, with capacity for 239 customers, including 34 seats in business class.

For the new route, Azul has set up an operation with four weekly frequencies in each direction, with departures on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, from the São Paulo airport. From the Spanish capital to São Paulo, flights this month are available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

In July, Azul will reinforce its operations to meet the summer demand in the northern hemisphere, when demand for international destinations increases due to the high tourist season and the extensive cultural and leisure activities in Europe. As a result, the Campinas-Madrid route will have five weekly flights from July to the end of October, with flights departing from the city of São Paulo on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. In the opposite direction, flights departing from Madrid will be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Another reinforcement in the operation is scheduled for the second half of December.
