The Embraer Institute mini-glider championship brings together this Saturday (31) around 100 students from nine public schools in the cities of São José dos Campos, Taubaté, Botucatu and Gavião Peixoto (SP). In a playful way, the initiative introduces young people to the fascinating world of aviation by learning its basic premises.
ed by Eve Air Mobility for the third consecutive year, the competition will test the knowledge of 8th and 9th grade students on flight principles applied to mini-glider projects. In the event, the aircraft will be launched from a five-meter-high platform and must fly as far as possible. The duration of the flight also counts as points, in addition to the design and innovation of the projects.
The competition starts at 12:15 pm, and the awards ceremony will take place at XNUMX:XNUMX pm. It will be held at the ADC Embraer Country Club, in São José dos Campos (as a closed event).
