According to the latest update from Ryanair, flights to/from Tel Aviv Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV) will be canceled between August 6th and September 30th. The airline stated that the reason for the cancellation are “operational constraints beyond our ability to control” and that it will affected engers through a variety of methods.
“Ryanair apologizes for these cancellations, which are beyond our control, and engers are advised to the Ryanair app to check the latest flight updates.”
The Irish airline followed the example of other carriers in extending the cancellation of its flights, amid rising tensions over possible retaliation from Iran.
Recently, the American Airlines announced that it will not resume operations to Tel Aviv until April 2025, adding to the Delta Air Lines and United Airlines, which also suspended its services to Israel.
While other carriers face challenges in the locality, THE AL, the Israeli national airline, increased its capacity by adding 53 additional weekly flights in July compared to last year. The airline announced that in the second quarter it saw an increase in quarterly and annual profit, with a net profit of US$147 million and revenue of US$839 million.
