TAAG begins first operation with Boeing 787 Dreamliner in Brazil

TAAG Linhas Aéreas de Angola began operating the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner in Brazil today, May 12. Incorporated into the company's fleet under a leasing arrangement in January of this year, the model now makes its official debut on Brazilian soil. Guarulhos Airport will be the first intercontinental destination operated by the aircraft.

The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft is the first of a total of four units ordered by TAAG and represents an important milestone in the fleet modernization plan. The model, already in commercial operation since March in Angola, lands for the first time on Brazilian soil this Monday (12) and leaves for Luanda on the same day.

The aircraft has capacity for 313 engers, with 16 seats in Business Class and 297 distributed between Economy and Economy classes. The cabin configuration is 1-2-1 in Business Class, 2-3-2 in Economy and 3-3-3 in Economy.

Decorated with TAAG's new branding, the Boeing 787-9 will be a key player in the company's intercontinental operations, offering greater versatility and availability to meet growing enger demand and market needs.
