In the module dedicated to Miami, participants had the opportunity to learn about the different regions of the destination, their characteristics and the factors that help customers choose the ideal accommodation. In addition, they were updated on the main attractions, events and the renowned local cuisine, which includes Michelin-starred restaurants, reinforcing the potential of the destination as one of the most sought-after on the international tourism scene.

In the section dedicated to SG Rentals, travel agents learned about the essential aspects of renting cars abroad. Topics covered included mandatory documents, how the SG Rentals Portal works, the Incentive Program, as well as detailed information on special rates, differentiated services and emergency Customer Service assistance. This practical and informative approach aims to train professionals to offer excellent and safe service to tourists.

According to the president of Abav-RJ, Marcelo Siciliano, this training is the first of many that the entity plans to promote this year, part of a strategic initiative to open the doors of Abav-RJ to tourist destinations and partners, in order to promote the training of travel agents and raise the quality of tourist agency in Rio de Janeiro.

“We believe that ongoing training is essential for the success of travel agents and for the growth of tourism as a whole. This initiative not only expands the knowledge of professionals, but also opens up new opportunities for partnerships and innovations, contributing significantly to the advancement of the sector,” highlighted Marcelo Siciliano.
