In this way, EPA is now ready to serve South American and Latin airlines, which operate with ATR aircraft.

The simulator was manufactured by FlightSafety International, and delivered to the EPA Training Center this year. The highlight of this simulator is its full-motion capability, with total simulation of movements of a real aircraft.

With a full motion simulator, airlines can train their crew, so that they obtain a Type Certificate for the operation of the aircraft.

“Alexander Schaffler, FST, has been very ive of all our demands since the beginning and has definitely contributed to the success of this acquisition. With the ATR FFS, we look forward to expanding training services to regional airlines in Latin America with highly experienced instructors in a branded 8-bay facility.”

This simulator will probably be used by Voe pilots, which have around 14 ATR 42/72 aircraft in their fleet.
