Flybondi has just received the 15th aircraft in its fleet, the third incorporated in the period of one month. Received at Ezeiza International Airport, in Buenos Aires, the new feature is a symbol of the airline's recent success.
Flybondi is already positioned as the Argentine airline that has grown the most in the last 20 years. It is estimated that with the recent growth of the fleet, almost 500 thousand engers are transported per month, which means 275% more people compared to October 2019.
Plane number 15 arrived in Argentina after an operation that lasted more than 60 hours. The trip started in the city of Jinan (China), then continued to Sapporo (Japan), until arriving in Anchorage (Alaska). From there, it left for San Antonio (USA) and made its last stop in Lima (Peru), before arriving in Ezeiza.
The Boeing 737-800 NG that s the Flybondi fleet has capacity for 189 engers. It will receive the LV-KJF registration number, after carrying out the istrative and certification processes in the next few days, to then begin commercial operations.
Furthermore, the low-cost airline recently reached a new milestone: more than 9 million engers have embraced the freedom to fly since Flybondi began operating. Relevant information: more than 1.800.000 of these engers flew for the first time in their lives, reaffirming the company's main purpose: that more and more people have the freedom to fly.
The growth of the company's fleet has a positive impact on the country and the region, as it translates, among other things, into greater connectivity, the generation of direct and indirect jobs and the development of regional economies.
