GOL Linhas Aéreas will shortly receive two new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, continuing the gradual renewal of the fleet. The airline has also been returning some older aircraft or converting them to transport cargo with Mercado Livre.
The Brazilian company received its first Boeing 737 MAX in 2018, starting a new series of registrations used, with the PR-XMA being the first. GOL also started to use the PS-*** to its aircraft, however these have so far been reserved for the MAXs that would be delivered to Jet Airways and other companies.
Now seven years later, GOL is concluding the PR-XM* series with the two new 737 MAX 8 aircraft that will arrive shortly. The future PR-XMY and XMZ were seen with the fuselage ready and engines installed to start test flights.
GOL will probably receive another 737 MAX 8 later this year, but this will start a new series of registrations for the Brazilian airline, the first will be PS-GRA. The new license plate is also included in the Brazilian Aeronautical Registry (RAB).

The last Boeing 737 MAX received by GOL was in November 2022, the PR-XMS, on the other hand the company has already returned at least three 737-800 NG aircraft, including the first two Short Field Performance.
The gradual resumption of deliveries comes after another series of problems that the American manufacturer faced in the supply chain, something similar happens with other manufacturers such as Airbus.
The Brazilian company has a current fleet of 139 aircraft, 120 in operation and the rest being gradually reactivated amid the recovery of the airline sector.
