And in July there will be a meeting of the BRICS, which for those who don't know is composed of Brazil, Russia, China, India and South Africa. And this meeting is scheduled to have the presentation of the proposal of the five countries to build a manned space station, with a contribution to technology and development of the sector, mainly from China and India, which has advanced steps in the space area, while Brazil has a lot of technology in the aviation sector. Such a project would be a strategy to create technology sharing alliances between countries.

It is worth mentioning that in December, Dimitry Rogozin, then vice-premier, visited sectors in Brazil linked to the space sector, such as INPE (National Institute for Space Research), AVIBRAS and MECTRON. “We can start this work now and include the theme in the agenda of the 7th BRICS Summit, to be held in July 2015, in the city of Ufa, capital of the Republic of Barcostastan, on the slopes of the Ural Mountains” reveals TASS, news agency from Russia.
Among the areas with perspective for future t research are modular rockets that use methane as fuel and the creation of an aerospace vehicle, which could be used in the future to build a sixth-generation fighter or bomber. But so far Russia has not received any position from the companies visited in Brazil and from the then president Dilma Rousseff, this causes discomfort in relation to the relationship between the countries.

Now a personal comment…
Of course, behind everything there is a small interest on both sides, but Brazil (in other words, the top of the government) is not concerned with creating its own technology, we are hostage to a primary sector, and that is the worst way to profit from the money, when products from the primary sector (steel, iron, aluminum) are transformed into technology in the industrial sector, the sale price is much more expensive, apart from the fact that generally the remuneration in this area is higher, which raises social indices .
But that's not the point, I recently published an article showing how NASA used the technology created in the space sector in their favor, it simply sold technology, why create a satellite that takes pictures of the ground? And if that interests big farmers… Why a cable TV transmitter satellite? And if you rent it to cable TV operators, at around 40 to 50 million a month… Why develop efficient climate control through satellites? And if this interests all Brazilians…
Anyway, Russia has already tried to approach Brazil with the T-50, a state-of-the-art air defense aircraft, hand in hand with the US F-22, and Brazil has not even aroused interest in SHARING, that's the point, learn from the Japanese, Koreans and Chinese who TOOK the technology that belonged to someone else, no one at this point in the race will develop something from scratch, it would be too late for someone who hasn't followed the world for decades.
Today we must thank the military sector for taking the initiative to develop a large aviation company in our country, in the same 70s in which Embraer prospered with its simple turboprops, the president of Hyundai Motors visited Brazil seeking to know how the cars, the president at the time José Pelúcio presented the factories and everything else and one of the coordinators said to the president, “It looks like you didn't understand us; we are not interested in attracting foreign automakers, but in creating our own automobile industry.” .
The rest of the story everyone already knows….
This is kind of an appeal for the president of the country to look at this sector. But the problem is money, it's always the problem, we can't stop because of a tight budget.
